Hey everyone, I'm Staci Stanton and welcome back to Read Local, my video book review for In the Stacks. Today's review is Danielle Trussoni's newest, The Ancestor. Bert has been adrift after the miscarriage of her child and the inevitable end of her marriage. So when she receives a mysterious letter notifying her that she is the long lost heir to a life-changing inheritance, she jumps on a plane to Italy and the remote estate where she hopes to start anew. She soon discovers the mysterious legacy of her ancestral home contains a wealth of secrets. Once Bert realizes her ancestors have passed down both a blessing and a curse, it's too late to escape her place as the rightful heir. Check out The Ancestor by Danielle Trussoni in the stacks at your local library.
