Hey everyone, I'm Staci Stanton and welcome back to Read Local, my video book review for In the Stacks. Today's review is the Guest List by Lucy Foley. I am familiar with the author's style after having read The Hunting Party. I knew there would be a murder and list of suspects in store. So in The Guest List, Jules and Will are having a destination wedding on a remote island. Those on the guest list include Will's rowdy group of friends from university and Jules' troubled younger sister and her best friend Charlie and his wife Hannah. Shortly after the ceremony, a grisly discovery interrupts the festivities. Whose body is found and who would want them dead? As it turns out, there is more than one person who stands to benefit from the murder. Who's the victim and who's the suspect? The answer is more complicated than you may think.
