Hello everyone my name is Staci Stanton and welcome back to Read Local, my video book review for In the Stacks. Today's review is Riley Sager's newest thriller, Home Before Dark. We're introduced to Maggie, after she's recently learned she's inherited the childhood home after her father's untimely death. It's no coincidence that Baneberry Hall is named after a poisonous fruit as any family who has lived there has endured tragedy, Maggie's no exception. Determined to uncover what forced her family to flee so many years ago, Maggie returns to fix up the property and finally close this chapter of her life. Is the historic home haunted by ghosts from long ago? Or is it the living that should cause Maggie to worry? Check out Home Before Dark by Riley Sager in the stacks at your local library.
