Read Local: Verity by Colleen Hoover

Presenting Read Local: Verity by Colleen Hoover. Reviewed by Staci Stanton for In the Stacks.

Hello, my name is Staci Stanton and welcome to Read Local, my video book review for In the Stacks. Today’s review is Colleen Hoover’s psychological thriller, Verity. Lowen is a struggling writer who has just been given the opportunity to finish the wildly popular series by Verity Crawford. Verity has been rendered virtually incapacitated by a car accident so Lowen agrees to review the author’s notes in the home she shares with her husband and son. Lowen is drawn to Jeremy, Verity’s husband, more than she's willing to admit, a fact further complicated by a journal she discovers that reveals shocking details of the Crawford’s life and Verity’s true identity. Will revealing the truth reveal Verity’s true self? Or will exposing Verity reveal more that Lowen expects, and truths she may not be ready to accept? Check out Verity by Colleen Hoover in the stacks at your local library.
