The Literary Voyeur: Snow by John Banville

Presenting: Snow by John Banville reviewed by Megan Duffy for In the Stacks.

Irish author, John Banville, best known for his Booker Prize-winning novel, The Sea, and the crime novels he has published under the pseudonym Benjamin Black, has just published his latest, a mystery called  Snow. It takes place in mid-century Wexford, Ireland during an unprecedented snowstorm. Detective Inspector, St. John Strafford must figure out who has murdered a Catholic priest on a family estate, and during the course of his investigation, he uncovers a dark secret that too many have taken to their graves. Snow is expertly crafted and impossible to put down. If you’re looking for a good winter mystery, I highly recommend Snow by John Banville. Thanks for watching.
